Miriam Mukasa is Founder and MD of AfricaTalentbank.com (ATB), a UK registered, e-Recruitment/Talent Management company that utilises web as well as mobile applications to modernise and enhance graduate recruitment in Africa – starting in Kenya.
As Managing Director, Miriam is responsible for day-to-day operations at ATB, as well as designing, developing and implementing strategic plans for the organisation. Miriam is a Prince2® UK registered (Project Management) Practitioner – PRINCE2® is valuable for those who need to set up and manage complex projects or who are involved in large-scale project work, and are looking for a best-practice methodology.
Miriam has over fourteen years HR experience, having previously worked for ten years, in recruitment at the Institute of Cancer Research, UK – one of the world’s leading cancer research organisations (rated top in Europe). She was a core member of its e-Recruitment project group which was set up to source and implement an e-Recruitment platform for the Institute. Prior to this, Miriam worked for Regent Pacific Corporate Finance (London), in its emerging markets equity sales division.
Miriam is a graduate of Sussex University, UK and holds a B.A. honours degree in Economics. She also holds British Psychological Society (BPS), Level A Certification in Psychometric (Aptitude/Ability) testing which enables ATB to administer and manage (in-house), over 100 online tests from leading suppliers including, SHL, Talent Q, and Pearson – the world’s leading education company and suppliers of the ATB Entrance test – The Core Abilities Assessment.
In Europe, Miriam trains members of staff (including departmental heads) of various multinationals including: Siemens, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and GKN plc – the global engineering group.
